Dr Karla Polaschek is a devoted wife and mom of a energetic 3
y/o boy. She has a busy OB-GYN practice in Moline, Illinois that draws
patients from near and far . Several years ago she made a courageous
decision to follow the life affirming directives of her chosen church in
her OB-GYN practice .Many thought her practice would collapse but God
blessed her and the practice expanded rapidly. She has been invited to
lead several organizations in their board of directors. Karla is
recognized for her expertise and ethical practice. She has received
accolades both in the community and professionally, including Big Sister
of the Year. She has recently become one of the leading providers of the
newest advancement in minimally invasive surgery with robotics She loves
a challenge that improves women's lives.. Her greatest joy was the
adoption of little Michael . Karla is delighted to serve at the Women's
Choice center as medical director.
Vicki Tyler Executive Director/CEO
Vicki Tyler came to the WCC in June of 2008. Her ducational background includes
a BA rom Augustana College and a aster’s
Degree, in counseling, from Western Illinois University. Vicki has taught, coached and
counseled at the high school level for 30 years.
Her family includes her usband and one son.
Along with her husband, Vicki testifies of God’s
amazing power of restoration in their
lives as they have allowed God to heal their
hearts from their abortion 31 years ago. She
believes that God has called her to this ministry
for such a time as this.
Pam Galanius R.N. Clinical Director
Certified Sonographer
Pam Galanius came to the WCC in September of 2008. She completed her RN, A.D.N. degree from Black
Hawk College in 1994. Her nursing experience includes work in hospital, doctor’s office, and home care settings. In October of 2008 Pam completed limited obstetricalsonography training through Sonography Now” and is a certified limited obstetrical sonographer.
Pam and her husband have been married for 15 years. They have three children, ages 11, 7, and 6. Having a son born pre-maturely at 21 weeks gestation, it confirmed to me what a miracle of life and development a baby is while still in the womb. I count it a privilege to help others see thisincredible miracle of life as well here at the WCC.
